This is a study into the circumcision rite of passage. It seeks to find out how
circumcision can be contextualized to make it compatible with Biblical Christianity.
The data was collected through face to face interviews and the administration or :1
questionnaire to various people from the Bukusu community Randomly selected. The
items in the questionnaire ",preopen-ended.
The findings revealed that, there are good things in the traditional circumcision
~that should be enhanced. It also revealed that there are negative things in this
circumcision that are unBiblical and against the progress of the society. These need
changing to make this rite of passage benefit the community without negative effect s.
However, the change should be done carefully |
