Abstract:
The object of this paper is to make a brief investigation of valence adjusting
operations in the Lugwere language. The paper examines those operations which
increase and those which decrease valence in the clause in Lugwere. In conclusion to
the investigation, observations of immediate linguistic value are made and further
research proposed.
